Delaware's Chastity Taylor Garners CAA Rookie of the Week

NEWARK, Del. – After shining in her Blue Hens' debut Sunday, University of Delaware freshman Chastity Taylor (Islandia, N.Y./St. Anthony's) was named the Colonial Athletic Association Women's Basketball Rookie of the Week, the league announced Monday.
Taylor picked up 12 points, three rebounds and two assists without a turnover in Delaware's 70-60 victory over #rv Marist at the Bob Carpenter Center.
The forward went 5-for-8 from the floor (.625) in addition to draining two 3-pointers in 18 minutes of action against the Red Foxes.
James Madison's Lauren Okafor was tabbed the CAA Player of the Week.
The Blue Hens (1-1) return to the court Friday with an 11:30 a.m. contest at East Carolina.
