Gameday Happenings – Delaware vs. Villanova
Traffic & Parking: Season and single game parking lots open at 8 a.m. this Saturday for you to enjoy tailgating with your fellow Blue Hens. Single game parking is available for $15. Please review the entrances and traffic flow patterns prior to arrival to avoid delays:
- Gate A – Entrance off of Rt.896/S. College Ave. (North Bound ONLY) for Gold VIP, Gold Road, Gold Legends and Gold Champions ONLY
- Gate B – Entrance off of Rt.896/S. College Ave. (North Bound ONLY) for Blue VIP, Blue Road, Blue Legends, Blue Champion and Gold Handicapped Reserved ONLY
- Gate C – Entrance off of Rt.896/S. College Ave. (North Bound ONLY) for Blue Hen parking permits
- Gate D – Entrance off of Rt.896/S. College Ave. (North and South Bound) Single game parking for the Ice Arena Lot, Townsend Hall and Pool Grass Lot
- Gate E – Will be closed this year to football gameday parking
- Gate F – Entrance off Route 4 (West Bound ONLY) for The Nest, All-Stars, All-American VIP and Victory VIP parking permits, ADA single gameday parking – NO OTHER SINGLE GAME ACCESS PERMITTED.

UD Athletic Ticket Office Opens at Delaware Stadium Main Gate: Saturday, 8 a.m.
Gates Open at Delaware Stadium: Saturday, 10 a.m.
Team Walk: Saturday at 9:30 a.m. Join us to greet members of the Blue Hens Football squad during pregame as they march down Stadium Drive escorted by the Delaware Marching Band and Spirit Groups to the locker room. The walk will begin approximately two and a half hours before kick-off each game in front of the Delaware Field House.
Newark Toyota World Fan Zone: Saturday, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Adjacent to The BOB and Hospitality Village
Philly's modern country cover band SHOT OF SOUTHERN (www.shotofsouthern.com/) will be on the Newark Toyota World Stage for all to enjoy this Saturday. The family-friendly fan zone is full of good times with giveaways, inflatables and interactives, including the UDairy Creamery Moo Mobile. Be sure to stop by the Blue Hens tent to write a thank you or holiday greeting to our troops overseas.
Military Appreciation Day: A special welcome to all service men and women in attendance for Military Appreciation Day! Those that registered for game tickets in advance should pick up their tickets at the Ticket Services kiosk in the Newark Toyota World Fan Zone between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. Any tickets that are not picked up by 12 p.m. will be located at the main will call window by the west main gate of Delaware Stadium.
Operation Gratitude Drive: All fans in attendance are asked to consider donating any of the listed WISH LIST items to help Operation Gratitude show our soldiers, sailors, airmen & marines they are not alone! Also, personal letters of appreciation from the Blue Hens are graciously welcomed to be included with donated items. Collection areas will be located outside the stadium by both the east and west gate entrances during pregame. For a full list of needed items, click here.
UD Football Senior Day: Be in the stands early to thank the UD Football Class of 2015 for their playing career as a Blue Hen during a special pregame ceremony with them and their families.
Hospitality Village (located at corner of 896 and route 4 in front of The BOB): Horizon Services.
Student Giveaway: Spirit sticks and t-shirts will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis to the first 1,000 UD Students sitting in the SEZ. All giveaways subject to availability.
UD Student Entrance: UD students should enter through the southwest corner of the stadium. No ticket is needed, only a valid UD ID. One admission per eligible student. Gameday Express Buses will run pre-game through kick-off from the following locations: Rodney/Dickinson, Laird, Smith and Perkins Student Center.
Guest Relations: The main Guest Relations kiosk is located directly inside the West Entrance of Delaware Stadium and is open two hours prior to kick-off through the conclusion of the game. Lost and found items, the lost parents program and emergency re-entry along with other general fan inquiries are all handled at the main kiosk inside the stadium.
Concessions Specials: Season ticket holders are encouraged to show their Season Ticket Holder Benefits Card at concession stand locations for an exclusive 10% discount on their purchase (excludes Grotto Pizza, Chick-fil-A and alcohol sales).
Craft Beers of Delaware: The Blue Hens Club members, Delaware Diamonds Society members, and Premium Box Seat Ticket Holders are invited to two in-stadium locations offering the purchase of Delaware brewed beers. Guests must be 21 and older and sales will conclude at the start of the 4th quarter. Sales are located in the northwest corner of the Stadium as well as the southeast corner of the Stadium.
Visiting Team Guests: Guests whose names have been left on a pass list from the visiting school and/or who need to pick up tickets purchased directly through the visiting school, should do so at the East Box Office on the East side of Delaware Stadium.
UD Player Guests/HS Coaches/Non-Football Recruits/Spirit Guests: Should enter through the pass gate on the west side of Delaware Stadium adjacent to the Delaware Stadium Box Office
UD Football Recruits: Should enter through the main entrance of the Bob Carpenter Center and meet designated staff on the 2nd floor of the building immediately at the top of the stairs.

Halftime In-Stadium:
The 18th induction class of the UD Athletics Hall of Fame will be honored in a private ceremony and reception for family and friends at the Embassy Suites Hotel on South College Avenue in Newark this Friday, Nov. 21, and will be introduced on-field at halftime of the football game on Saturday, before the UD Marching Band halftime show.
Postgame In-Stadium:
After singing the alma mater with the football team, remain in the stands for the postgame show featuring the UD Marching Band.
Seatback Rentals: Seatback rentals may be purchased on gameday immediately inside the East and West main entrances. They are $6 per seat and are cash only on gameday.
Tobacco Free Policy: Effective 8/1/14 the University of Delaware has implemented a tobacco-free policy applicable to all members of the University community. The new policy prohibits the use of all tobacco products, (smoking, snuff & the emerging e-cigarettes) on University property to ensure a “Tobacco-Free UD.” For details, click here.
Stadium Policies: Patrons are permitted to bring in one unopened bottle of water per guest. In order to ensure the safety of our guests, all bags will be checked as patrons enter the facility. Please plan accordingly as long lines may exist. Delaware Stadium has a No Re-Entry policy. Patrons experiencing an emergency or who must exit for medical reasons may go to the main Guest Relations kiosk inside the Stadium on the West side for assistance. UD reserves the right to inspect and remove any packages and containers. All persons are subject to search, which includes clothing, jackets, bags and purses. The stadium will not be responsible for items left at any of the entry gates. Fans should return restricted articles to their vehicle.
Tailgating: Patrons may tailgate beginning 4 hours prior to kick-off and may resume postgame for up to two hours after the conclusion of the game.
