STORYLINES
• Delaware plays the second game of its West Coast road trip on Sunday afternoon at CSU Bakersfield.
• The Blue Hens dropped a 78-60 decision at Cal Poly on Friday, falling to 0-2 on the young season. Delaware will look to avoid its first 0-3 start since dropping four in a row to begin the 2007-08 campaign.
• The contest will be the first ever meeting between Delaware and CSU Bakersfield, and the Blue Hens' first contest against a team currently in the WAC.
• Blue Hen head coach Monté Ross has coached against Roadrunners coach Rod Barnes in seven previous games, when Barnes was the head coach at former CAA member Georgia State. Delaware prevailed in four of those seven games.
• Cazmon Hayes scored a career-high 22 points Friday at Cal Poly, and has led the Blue Hens in scoring during each of the first two games this season. Hayes currently ranks third in the CAA by averaging 19.5 points per game.
• Point guard Kory Holden added 12 points vs. the Mustangs, and has also reached double figures in his first two collegiate contests.
• Delaware played without junior forward Marvin King-Davis, who remains sidelined with a hamstring injury. The Blue Hens utilized a nine-man rotation at Cal Poly - five freshmen and four sophomores.
• The Blue Hens close their trip on Tuesday at Stanford with a game that will be televised on the PAC-12 Network.
