University of Delaware Women's Golfers Move Up To Fifth Place Following Second Day of FIU Pat Bradley Invitational

LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla. -- The University of Delaware women's golf team moved up two spots to fifth place on Monday following the second round of the 37th Annual FIU Pat Bradley Invitational.
The Blue Hens posted a 297 team score during the second round of the tournament, finishing the day with a two-round total of 607. Memphis leads the 13-team field with a 584 score followed by FIU (589), Daytona State (590), Jacksonville (592) and Delaware.
UD senior Amanda Terzian carded an even par 72 during Monday's round on the par 72, 6,288-yard Lakewood Ranch Golf Course, ending the day tied for 11th place in the individual standings with a four over par score of 76-72-148. Terzian was four over par on the day through seven, but rallied with five birdies over the final 10 holes to finish the round at even par.
Andi SlaneSophomore Vitoria Teixeira also carded a 76 on Monday, and enters Tuesday's final round tied for 35th place with a 12 over par score of 80-76-156. Teixeira birdied 4, 7 and 9 during a one over par front nine, before adding six pars on the back nine. Junior Nathalie Filler fired a three over par 75 during her second round, ending the day tied for 42nd place at 83-75-158, 14 over par. Filler posted birdies on 4 and 7 as she completed the front nine at one under par, while she added seven pars during the back nine.
Blue Hen freshman Rachel Lee, who shot an even par 72 during Sunday's opening round, withdrew from the tournament on Monday.
Tiffany Chan of Daytona State leads the field with a four under par score of 70-70-140.
The third and final round of the invitational will take place on Tuesday.
