Hens Return Home Sunday for Match Against Bucknell

RONALD McDONALD HOUSE OF DELAWARE WISH LIST DRIVE
Sunday's game marks the annual Ronald McDonald House of Delaware Wish List Drive. Fans are encouraged to donate items (LIST HERE) to help support families of seriously or chronically ill or injured children who are being treated at area hospitals. Both the men's and women's basketball teams will attend the Ronald McDonald House's Share A Night event on Thursday.
MEN'S/WOMEN'S DOUBLEHEADER
Sunday will feature a doubleheader as the Blue Hens men's basketball team hosts Delaware State at noon. Fans with a women's basketball ticket will also gain admission to the men's game, but must sit in a general admission section and then can move to their specified seat once the men's game concludes.

LAST TIME OUT
Delaware came out of the halftime break with a vengeance and outscored Temple by 14 points in the second half to defeat the Owls, 69-58, Wednesday evening for the program's 700th victory. Erika Brown led UD by tying a career-high with 23 points in addition to collecting three assists and three rebounds. The guard sparked a second half comeback by scoring eight points in the first three minutes coming out of the break to put the Blue Hens ahead, 38-30. Delaware (3-3) went up by as much as 13 and never relinquished a double-figure margin over Temple (3-4) in the final four minutes. Courtni Green followed a career-performance against Vermont with 19 points against the Owls. Stephanie Leon guided the UD defense with a career-best nine rebounds in addition to four blocked shots. Makeda Nicholas recorded another solid game with 10 points, five rebounds and four assists.
HEN SCRATCHINGS
· Wednesday's win at Temple was Delaware's 700th since program inception in 1971-72. In 43 seasons of play, the Blue Hens have averaged over 16 victories per season.
· Stephanie Leon earned more recognition for her hard work off of the court Wednesday as the senior was recognized as one of 93 nominees to the 2015 Allstate WBCA Good Works Team®.

· Both former members of the East Coast Conference, UD leads the all-time series over Bucknell, 19-2.
· The Blue Hens are 9-1 against the Bison at home.
· Delaware has won nine straight versus Bucknell.
