Troy Beneck Ties All-Time Career Wins Record as Delaware Unable to Overcome Hofstra in 4-3 Loss

Adam Lawton (Estepona, Spain) also collected a 6-1, 6-2 victory against Adrien Bailly in No. 2 singles while sophomore Tim Puterio (Kingston, R.I.) defeated Leo Pires, 6-1, 6-2 in the sixth flight.
· Lawton is in third place all-time with a career doubles mark of 48-23.
· Troy Beneck is the only player in school history to collect at least 70 doubles and singles wins.
In doubles play, Beneck and Lawton earned an 8-3 win against Richman and Bailly in the top flight, but the Pride (3-1, 1-0 CAA) recorded the team point.
