University of Delaware Men's Golfers in 11th Place Following First Day of Fairleigh Dickinson Invitational

HAMBURG, N.J. -- The University of Delaware men's golf squad carded a 332 team score on Sunday and sits in 11th place following the first day of the Fairleigh Dickinson Invitational.
Binghamton leads the 14-team field with a 300 score during Sunday's opening round, while the host Knights are second at 302 and Hofstra is third with a 313 score.
Delaware sophomore Colin McKenna fired an eight over par 36-43-79 on the par 71, 6,734-yard course at Crystal Springs Golf Club, finishing the day tied for 19th in the individual standings. Fellow sophomore Kyle Martin is tied for 35th place after carding an 11 over par 45-37-82 during his opening round.
Blue Hen freshman Joe Visalli recorded a 13 over par 43-41-84, ending the day tied for 46th place. Senior Dan Costenbader, who carded a 46-41-87, and junior Fraser Graham, who fired a 45-42-87, are each tied for 58th place at 16 over par.
U Minn Woon of Fairleigh Dickinson holds a one-shot lead after he carded an even par 37-34-71 during Sunday's action.
The tournament's second and final round will be held Monday with a shotgun start beginning at 8 a.m.
