Areephun Earns Third CUSA Men’s Golfer of the Week Honor

DALLAS – For the third time this season, University of Delaware junior men's golfer Arsit Areephun has been named the Conference USA Men's Golfer of the Week, as announced by the league office on Wednesday. The award, the fifth weekly honor of Areephun's career, recognizes his performance at the Rutherford Intercollegiate this past weekend to close out the regular season.
Areephun claimed runner-up honors, finishing at 3-under par 210 over his three rounds with 11 birdies. He opened his weekend with a 3-under par 68, draining five birdies, and shot even-par 71s in each of his final two rounds. This is Areephun's fourth top-10 finish in nine tournaments this season, and 12th of his career. The junior has played in 27 rounds and now has a team-leading 17 rounds at even or under par.
This is Areephun's third weekly award of the season, and the fourth for the Fightin' Blue Hens. Areephun previously earned the recognition on September 17 and February 11, and Aryan Vuradi was selected as CUSA Men's Golfer of the Week on April 1.

Delaware will travel to Texarkana, Arkansas next week to compete in the 2025 Conference USA Men's Golf Championship. The four-day tournament will be held April 27-30 at Texarkana Country Club. Teams will play 54 holes over the first three days before the top four teams will advance to a match play semifinals and finals on the fourth day.
