University of Delaware Volleyball Wins Three of Four Matches at Temple Alumni Tournament

PHILADELPHIA -- The University of Delaware volleyball team won three of its four matches at the Temple Alumni Tournament over the weekend at McGonigle Hall.

The Blue Hens defeated Penn, 2-0, before falling to the host Owls, 2-1. Delaware then defeated Navy and La Salle by identical 2-0 scores.

Every member of the Blue Hen squad saw action and contributed at the tournament.

The Blue Hens will host the Delaware Spring Invitational this Saturday when they take on Towson, St. John's, Rutgers, Princeton and a UD Alumni Team. Action begins at 9 a.m. in the west gym of the Bob Carpenter Center Addition.
