Blue Hen Volleyball To Hold Faculty/Staff Appreciation Match During Friday?s Contest vs. Manhattan

NEWARK, Del. -- The University of Delaware volleyball program will host a UD Faculty/Staff Appreciation match during the Blue Hens' contest against Manhattan on Friday at 1 p.m. at the Bob Carpenter Center.
The match will be Delaware's opening contest in the 38th Annual University of Delaware Invitational, which features four matches on Friday and two on Saturday. The Blue Hens will also take on Princeton at 7 p.m. on Friday before facing George Mason Saturday at 12 noon.
All faculty and staff will receive free admission to the match vs. Manhattan when they show their UD ID, either in advance or on the day of the match.
A lunch combo featuring a regular hot dog, chips and soda for just $5 will also be offered to faculty and staff members who show a valid UD ID. Additionally, Fan Cards compliments of the UD Courtyard by Marriott will be given out to the first 150 fans in attendance.
Professors of the Blue Hen volleyball student-athletes are invited to high five the team and form the Hens High Five Tunnel during intermission.
Additional tickets can be purchased for just $7 for adults, and $5 for youth ages 17 and under and seniors ages 60 or older.
