Jeffray and Sweet Notch Doubles Win on Final Day of VCU Invitational

RICHMOND, Va. – The University of Delaware men's tennis team completed its opening weekend of spring action Sunday with losses to VCU and James Madison in the VCU Invitational, held at Thalhimer Tennis Center.
In early morning play, the Hens (0-4) fell to the host Rams (3-0) by a score of 5-0. Delaware followed with a 4-1 loss to James Madison (1-2).
Alex SweetJunior Tim Puterio (Kingston, R.I./South Kingstown) posted the team's lone other three-set match of the day with a 5-7, 6-0, 10-6 loss to VCU's Matthew Kritzinger in No. 4 singles.
