STORYLINES
• Delaware plays its second game in an eight-day stretch and opens a three-game road swing this evening at Hofstra.
• Delaware is 4-9 in CAA road openers, but has won two straight (at Old Dominion and at James Madison.)
• UD is looking to avoid its first 0-2 start in CAA play since 2006-07 during Monté Ross' first season.
• Hofstra leads the all-time series with Delaware 48-31, but the Blue Hens have won the last eight meetings. UD has captured three straight at the Mack Sports Complex following an 11-game losing streak in Hempstead. No player on the UD roster has ever lost to Hofstra.
• Hofstra leads the CAA by averaging 80.4 points per game, while Delaware is eighth with a 61.2 scoring average. The Pride is also first in the conference with a +14.1 scoring margin, while Delaware is last with a -13.8 margin.
• Kyle Anderson hit two three-pointers during Saturday's loss to Northeastern, tying Mike Ames for the UD career three-pointers record at 228. He needs one more to become the school's new career leader.
• Maurice Jeffers led Delaware with 11 points vs. the Huskies. Jeffers did not reach double figures in the first 25 games of his career, but has scored in double digits during three of the last five contests.
