LAST TIME OUT
UD saw three players score at least 12 points each, but the Blue Hens registered 23 turnovers in Sunday's 60-50 loss to Elon in the CAA opener at the Bob Carpenter Center. A sloppy first half of play saw the Hens (13) and Phoenix (12) combine for 25 total turnovers. Elon jumped out to an early lead, but Delaware slowly fought back and tied the game at 18-18 before the Phoenix used three-pointers to post a 34-23 halftime advantage. The Blue Hens (5-7, 0-1 CAA) never came within more than six points of the visitors in the second half as Elon (8-4, 1-0 CAA) notched its first-ever CAA victory. Courtni Green led all scorers with 17 points while Erika Brown contributed 13 points, five assists and four rebounds. Joy Caracciolo added 12 points, six rebounds and three steals for Delaware. Hannah Jardine collected double figure rebounds for the second consecutive game with 10.

· The Blue Hens currently rank first in the CAA and 12th nationally with a .381 three-point shooting percentage (53-139).
· With 94 career 3-point field goals made, junior Courtni Green is seventh in the Delaware history books.

SERIES INFORMATION
· Delaware leads the all-time series over the College of Charleston, 2-1.
· The Cougars defeated the Blue Hens, 68-66, last season at TD Arena in the first-ever matchup between the two teams.
· UD followed with two consecutive wins, posting an 85-71 victory at the Bob Carpenter Center and then following with a 60-52 triumph in the CAA semifinals.
· The two teams will square off at the Bob Carpenter Center on January 22.
· Martin is 2-1 against the Cougars.
· Candice Jackson (Michigan State '04) is in her first season at CofC and has led the Cougars to a 2-10 record. Jackson previously spent three seasons as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Duke University.
