· The 2015-16 season marks the 45th overall in the history of the University of Delaware women's basketball program. During their previous 44 seasons, the Blue Hens have registered a record of 711-464 (.605) with 28 winning years under three head coaches.
· Since starting play at the Bob Carpenter Center in 1992, Delaware is 20-3 all-time in home openers and 211-88 (.706) overall.
· The Blue Hens look to bounce back from a 2014-15 year in which the team posted its first losing season since going 7-24 during the 2007-08 campaign.

SERIES INFORMATION
· Delaware leads the all-time series against Lafayette, 15-12.
· The Hens are 8-4 over the Leopards at home.
· Last season, LC defeated UD, 63-52, in the season opener in Easton, Pa.
· Prior to last year, Delaware had won three straight and four of the last five since 1992-93.
· UD and LC use to be former East Coast Conference foes.
· Theresa Grentz (Immaculata '74) is in her first season as the head coach of the Leopards after serving as an assistant last year.
· Grentz returns to the sidelines as a head coach for the first time since 2006-07. She holds a career record of 671-311 over a span of 33 years.
