· The 2015-16 season marks the 45th overall in the history of the University of Delaware women's basketball program. During their previous 44 seasons, the Blue Hens have registered a record of 711-464 (.605) with 28 winning years under three head coaches.
· Delaware hits the road for the first time this season while Marist is hosting its home opener.
· Alecia Bell returned to the court Friday after missing last season with injury to post four points and two rebounds.

SERIES INFORMATION
· Delaware leads the all-time series against Marist, 3-0.
· Last season, the Blue Hens picked up the 70-60 victory over the #rv Red Foxes on Nov. 16.
· This marks UD's second trip to Poughkeepsie.
· Previously, the Hens collected the 87-72 win at Marist on Dec. 22, 2001.
· Brian Giorgis (SUNY Cortland '77) is in his 14th year as the head coach of the Red Foxes.
· Giorgis is the program's all-time leader in wins with a career mark of 325-101 (.763). He has led Marist to 10 MAAC Championship titles, 11 MAAC regular season titles, 10 NCAA Tournament appearances and a WNIT appearance.
