• Delaware travels to Iona looking to open a season with a pair of wins for the first time since the 2005-06 squad opened with wins over The Citadel and Stetson in Raleigh, N.C.
• The Blue Hens win snapped a nine-game losing skid in season-openers with the 62-56 comeback victory at Delaware State last Friday.
• Marvin King-Davis recorded his fourth career double-double with game-highs of 13 points and 12 rebounds, while Chivarsky Corbett and Cazmon Hayes contributed 12 points apiece.
• UD trailed by 13 points with 13:13 remaining, but responded with a 23-2 spurt to take control. The Blue Hens limited Delaware State to 1 of 17 shooting in that stretch.
• Delaware held a commanding 44-29 rebounding advantage over the Hornets and committed just nine fouls on the night.
• The Blue Hens attempted 25 three-pointers and just 23 shots inside the arc, the first time since Dec. 23, 2009 UD took more three-pointers than two-pointers.
• UD's starting five and Devonne Pinkard combined for all 62 points and 39 rebounds during the win.
