STORYLINES
• Delaware plays its only contest outside of Newark in a four-game stretch with a road game at Temple. The game also begins a stretch of four games in eight days for the Blue Hens.
• A win would give UD its first 3-1 start since the 2003-04 season.
• The Owls lead the all-time series with the Blue Hens 39-6, and Temple has won the last 19 meetings between the two schools. The contest is the' fifth meeting since the start of the 2009-10 season, but just the second taking place in Philadelphia.
• Delaware edged Fairleigh Dickinson, 73-72, in its home opener on Tuesday, as Cazmon Hayes hit a free throw with :00.9 left to seal the victory.
• Kory Holden scored 21 points and knocked down a career-high five three-pointers, while also handing out six assists. Marvin King-Davis notched his second double-double of the season with 14 points and a game-high 10 rebounds, while Cazmon Hayes contributed eight points and a career-high four steals.
• Delaware hung on despite connecting on just 17 of 34 free throw attempts.
• Blue Hen junior Devonne Pinkard suffered a broken right foot early in the game, and will be sidelined for 3-6 weeks.
• UD dominated FDU on the boards, 48-33, and leads the CAA in rebounds, rebounds allowed, and rebound margin. The Blue Hens have won the rebounding battle in the first three games of the season for the first time since 1992-93.
• The Blue Hens have attempted 83 free throws while their opponents have attempted just 44 through the first three games of the year.
