Marvin King-Davis Named CAA Men's Basketball Co-Player of the Week

RICHMOND, Va. -- Blue Hen senior forward Marvin King-Davis was named the Colonial Athletic Association Men's Basketball Co-Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.
King-Davis, a native of Richmond, Va. (Meadowbrook HS), led Delaware to the 70-69 win at Marist on Saturday by scoring a season-high 20 points and grabbing a game-best 10 rebounds. He finished 6 of 11 from the field and 8 of 9 from the foul line in 31 minutes of action. King-Davis, who has scored in double figures during all eight games this year, notched his league-leading fifth double-double of the season vs. the Red Foxes.
King-Davis leads the CAA and ranks 34th in Division I with 9.8 rebounds per game, while he is second on the Blue Hens and 13th in the league by averaging 14.5 points per contest. He also ranks first in the conference with 3.5 offensive rebounds, third with 6.3 defensive rebounds, eighth with a 78.4 free throw percentage, and 15th with a 44.2 field goal percentage.
King-Davis, who earned the first CAA Player of the Week award of his career, shared weekly honors with Canyon Barry of Charleston.
Delaware, which improved to 5-3 with the victory over Marist, returns to action on Saturday with a 7 p.m. game at Boston College.
