RICHMOND, Va. – Delaware forward Nicole Enabosi (Gaithersburg, Md./Our Lady of Good Counsel) continues to impress during her freshman campaign as she earned her second Colonial Athletic Association Rookie of the Week Award, as announced by the conference Monday.
Enabosi averaged 9.5 points, 9.0 rebounds and 4.0 blocked shots over two games for the Blue Hens (4-4). She began the week with 12 points and eight rebounds in Monday's double overtime loss at George Mason.
In Thursday's loss at Georgetown, Enabosi collected a game-high seven blocks to go along with 10 rebounds and seven points. In doing so, she became just the fifth player in program history to notch at least seven blocks in a single game and registered the highest block total in the CAA this season.
For the year, Enabosi leads the Hens with 7.9 rebounds, 1.9 blocks and 1.9 steals per game and is third for Delaware with 10.1 points per game.
Lauren Brown (Elon) collected CAA Co-Player of the Week accolades.
Delaware wraps up a six game stint away from the Bob Carpenter Center with a 2 p.m. contest at Bucknell Sunday.
