Delaware Women's Golf Signs Two To National Letters of Intent

NEWARK, Del. -- University of Delaware women's golf head coach Patty Post has announced that Josefina Fernandez-Davila and Kylie Greulich have signed National Letters of Intent with UD and will begin playing for the Blue Hens next fall.
Fernandez-Davila, a native of Lima, Peru, won the 2015 Abierto de Invierno Los Inkas in Lima with a 71-72-143, and also earned medalist honors at the 2014 World Masters of Junior Golf tournament in Las Vegas with a score of 68-69-73-210.
She competed in the 2014 Junior South American Golf Championship in Punta del Este, Uruguay,
leading Peru to a fifth place finish while placing sixth individually.
A 2015 National Amateur Sub-Champion, Fernandez-Davila earned the Tutor Prize in 2014.
Greulich (right), a native of Huron, Ohio, won the 2015 Edison Invitational with a school-record round of 68, and finished second at the HJGT Junior event.
She finished in first place at the Optimist Ohio District Pre-Qualifier, second at the Ohio Northwest District Tournament, and sixth at the Ohio Division II State Tournament this year.
Additionally Greulich tied for fifth place at the Golfweek Junior Tour event at Avalon Lakes, and won the Ohio Northwest District title in 2014.
Greulich is also the National Honor Society secretary at Huron High School, and is the Student Council Senior Class Vice President.
