Marinaccio Named Corvias ECAC Division I South Rookie of the Week

DANBURY, Conn. – After receiving Colonial Athletic Association Pitcher of the Week honors Monday, Ron Marinaccio earned another award Tuesday as the freshman was named Corvias ECAC Division 1 South Rookie of the Week.

Marinaccio (Toms River, N.J./Toms River North) pitched his first career complete game and earned his second win of the season in Delaware's 14-1 win over Hofstra Sunday. The righty allowed only one run on four hits and struck out five in the winning effort.

Maryland's Brandon Lowe and Illinois' Chris Bohanek were named Co-Players of the Week, while Jared Lyons of Liberty took home Pitcher of the Week honors.
