Blue Hens in First Place Following First Day of Middleburg Bank Intercollegiate

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. -- The University of Delaware women's golf squad leads the team standings while four Blue Hens sit among the top seven following Monday's opening two rounds at the Middleburg Bank Intercollegiate.
Delaware posted team rounds of 302 and 306 on Monday, as its 608 total is six shots lower than second place William & Mary, which is hosting the tournament. Eastern Michigan enters Tuesday's final round in third place with a 616 score. The Blue Hen “B” team sits in 12th place out of 16 squads with a two-round total of 657.
Amanda Terzian carded a three over par 75-72-147 on the par 72, 5,962-yard Plantation Course at Kingsmill Resort to end the day in second place in the individual standings. She trails only Alessandra Liu of William & Mary, who fired a one under par 72-71-143 on Monday.
Andi Slane is tied for seventh place with a nine over par score of 76-77-153. Rachel Lee is also tied for seventh with a nine over par 79-74-153 to pace the Delaware “B” squad.Vimonthip Benjasupawan recorded a 12 over par 75-81-156 to end the day tied for 15th place while Annie Bowlsby, playing as an individual, is also tied for 15th after she shot a 12 over par 83-73-156.
Emma Sills is tied for 62nd after firing a 26 over par 85-85-170, while Baralee Theinthong is tied for 75th place following her 31 over par day of 86-89-175.The third and final round of the Middleburg Bank Intercollegiate will begin with a 9 a.m. shotgun start on Tuesday.
