“It was another great weekend being in contention going into the third round,” said Blue Hen head coach Patty Post. “This team is really capable of winning each tournament. Even though we didn't come home with the 'W' this weekend, it was still a great experience for the team and nice to see everybody contribute. It was another solid performance to build confidence going into the CAA championship this week.”
Jacqueline Chulya of Columbia was the tournament medalist as she posted a four-shot victory with an even par score of 73-74-69-216.
Delaware closes out its 2014-15 regular season on Friday through Sunday when the Blue Hens compete in the Colonial Athletic Association Championships at St. James Plantation in Southport, N.C.
