Erika Brown Honored as Team MVP at Annual Women's Basketball Banquet

NEWARK, Del. – Sophomore Erika Brown (Haledon, N.J./John F. Kennedy) was named the team's MVP Thursday evening as the University of Delaware women's basketball team celebrated its annual end-of-the-year awards banquet at the Bob Carpenter Center.
Brown also received her All-Colonial Athletic Association Second Team plaque during the ceremony. The guard was tied for the team lead and fifth in the CAA with 14.2 points per game in addition to registering 3.1 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.3 steals for the Blue Hens. Brown also shot .386 from the field and .436 from behind the three-point arc during her second season in a Delaware uniform.

The Blue Hens completed the 2014-15 season with a mark of 15-17 while reaching the CAA Semifinals for the sixth straight year.
