Massachusetts leads 11-5 and had posted two straight victories before Delaware recorded a 15-7 victory last season at Delaware Stadium to clinch a spot in the Colonial Athletic Association Tournament...Tom Holland scored five goals and Beau Davis scored three times to lead the Hens...in the last meeting at Amherst, UMass collected a 16-8 victory in 2013...Delaware's last road win in the series was a 9-7 victory in the CAA Championship Game in 2011.

LAST TIME OUT:
Delaware - For the second straight week, the University of Delaware men's lacrosse squad used a spirited fourth quarter comeback to send a game into overtime. But the Blue Hens came up short in the extra session once again last Saturday as Delaware dropped a heartbreaking 12-11 decision in double overtime to host Fairfield in a CAA battle at Rafferty Stadium in Fairfield, Conn. Delaware, which lost its fifth straight game, outscored Fairfield 5-0 in the fourth quarter and sent the game into overtime on a goal by senior attackman Beau Jones with 5:55 left in regulation. After neither team could score in the first extra session, Fairfield finally broke the stalemate on a sudden death goal by Tristan Sperry just one minute into the second overtime frame. Jones finished the day with five assists for the Blue Hens.
Massachusetts - Balance on attack and 14 saves by goalie Zach Oliveri keyed UMass men's lacrosse to its 12-9 win over Drexel at Garber Field last Saturday afternoon. The game marked head coach Greg Cannella's 300th leading the program while the victory, spearheaded by three goals each from Brendan Hegarty and Dan Muller.

STORYLINES
• Delaware will be looking to snap a five-game losing streak and post its first Colonial Athletic Association victory of the season in its season finale
• Delaware has not lost five straight since finishing the 2003 season with five straight setbacks and have not lost six straight since an eight-game drought in 2002
• Delaware is 1-4 on the road this season with the lone victory an 11-10 win Feb. 24 at Mt. St. Mary's
• Delaware plays three straight road games to end the season following a seven-game homestand
• Delaware is coming off back-to-back overtime losses, falling at Drexel 9-8 on Apr. 11 and 12-11 in double overtime at Fairfield Apr. 18. The Hens have never played three straight overtime games and have played three overtime games in a season only once (1993)

• Senior midfielder Brian Kormondy and senior attackman Tom Holland each scored his 50th career goals vs. Drexel. Holland now has 52 goals while Kormonday has 51 and Jones has dished out a team-leading 42 assists
• Senior faceoff specialist Tyler Barbarich won 13 of 20 faceoffs vs. Towson on Apr. 4 and 11 of 21 vs. Drexel. He ranks No. 5 all-time at Delaware with 431 faceoff victories (.555 winning pct.) and No. 12 with 210 career groundballs
• Delaware leads the CAA in saves per game (11.07) and ranks No. 3 in man-down defense (.644) and shot pct. (.284) and No. 4 in scoring offense (9.0 per game) and turnovers (13.29/26th in NCAA)
• Individually, Jones leads the CAA in shot pct. (.425) and is No. 4 in assists (1.43 per game) while GK Brett Anton is No. 2 in saves per game (9.46), No. 3 in save pct. (.532), and No. 4 in GAA (9.58/27th in NCAA)
• Hens have been outscored 45-33 in the first quarter this season but are outscoring opponents 33-30 in the fourth stanza
• Sophomore attackman Paul Major has 9 goals this season but two of them have been game-winners
