Fandemonium VI, Blue-White Football Spring Game Set for May 2 at Delaware Stadium

NEWARK, Del. -- It will be a day filled with family fun and football at Delaware Stadium on Saturday, May 2 when the University of Delaware hosts its annual Fandemonium VI and Blue-White Football Spring Game.
Kids of all ages, as well as all Delaware fans, are invited to come out and enjoy a full day of food, fun and the annual spring game. Fandemonium VI will begin at 10 a.m. with the football spring game set to start at 12 noon.
Following the game, members of the Delaware football squad will sign autographs under the west concourse of Delaware Stadium.
The Fan Zone, located in front of the west main entrance of Delaware Stadium, will feature numerous family fun activities including free pony rides, inflatable games, laser tag and motion controlled games, green screen photo opportunities, Balloon Man from Jungle John Entertainment, the Blue Hens Bounce House, and face painting compliments of the Future Hens Club.
Fans can also interact with local service personnel at the First Responders Zone, all while listening to live music from DJ Andrew Hugh.
Blue Hens giveaways at the Guest Relations kiosk in the Fan Zone will be available for the first fans that check in while UDairy Creamery and other food will be available for purchase, along with official Blue Hens merchandise for sale by the UD Bookstore.
Additionally, the Delaware Beer Garden will be open for fans to enjoy cold beverages prior to the spring game.
Also from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, UD will be hosting its third annual Select-A-Seat event at Delaware Stadium. Patrons looking to purchase new season tickets, along with current season ticket holders looking for additional upgrades, relocations or wishing to add additional seats, will be able to do so inside the stadium.
This will be the first time that new season tickets are available to the general public, as the official on-sale date through the Delaware Ticket Office will be Monday, May 4.
Select seats will be tagged for fans who would like to upgrade, switch sections or purchase season tickets. Ticket Office staff members will be available at the stadium to answer any questions and assist anyone looking to purchase tickets.
Fans wishing to purchase new tickets or relocate existing tickets should remove the tag on the seat(s) and bring them to the Ticket Services kiosk located on the sideline in the southwest corner of the stadium, where a ticket representative will be on hand to assist. Additionally, ticket specials for UD Alumni are available in Section A for just $89, with a limit of four tickets per person.
Fans interested in learning more about the refreshed Blue Hens Hospitality Village and available group outings for the 2015 football season are invited to the Blue Hens Hospitality Village Preview Brunch, which will also take place from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.

Additionally, Future Hens Club members are exclusively invited to be Helmet Helpers for the UD football team as they take the field prior to the spring game at 11:45 a.m. FHClub members can register in advance by Thursday, Apr. 30.
Also part of the fun-filled day, the University of Delaware Volleyball Spring Fling will begin at 9 a.m., as the Blue Hens and local volleyball community host their annual grass tournament. All ages and skill levels are welcome, while every team is guaranteed three competitions. T-shirts, prizes and giveaways will all be awarded at the Spring Fling.
The Delaware Athletic Trainers Association 5K Run/1 Mile Walk will begin at 9:30 a.m. from the UD Athletics Complex. Proceeds from the event will help support the Delaware Trainers Association's mission to support programs dedicated to the safety of student-athletes, educate the public on the athletic training profession, and provide athletic training students in Delaware with leadership opportunities. Registration on May 2 will take place from 8:30 to 9:15 a.m.
Fans can conclude the day by heading to the UD Softball Stadium to watch the Blue Hen softball team face Towson in its regular season finale, with first pitch taking place at 1 p.m.
