UD Volleyball Players Julia Anderson, Katie Hillman Earn Academic Honors

NEWARK, Del. -- The University of Delaware volleyball program is proud to announce that two of its team members have earned prestigious academic honors from the University.
Sophomore setter Julia Anderson will be awarded a Student of Promise Award from the Organizational and Community Leadership faculty on Monday, May 18.
Junior outside hitter Katie Hillman was inducted into the Beta Xi Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau (National Nursing Honor Society) on April 24. Last fall Hillman participated in the A I Dupont Student Nurse Preceptorship Externship. During the first summer session she will be studying abroad in India to gain clinical experience with hospitals and health care facilities in Northern India.
