UD Standouts Combine for Five Goals in USILA North-South Game; Jones Selected MVP

Noah Fossner earned top honors in the 2011 games. Fossner now serves as an assistant coach at Delaware.
In addition to Jones, midfielder Brian Kormondy (Mullen/Highland Ranch, Colo.) scored two goals, dished out an assist, and scooped up a groundball and defender Brandon Worrall (West Windsor/Plainsboro, N.J.) tallied a single goal.
The South team tallied eight goals in the second period to take a 13-8 lead at halftime and cruised to the victory.
Jones, a finance major, tallied 80 career points for the Blue Hens on 36 goals and 44 assists. He led the team in scoring with 40 points this past season.
Kormondy, a two-time All-Colonial Athletic Association selection, was Delaware's second leading goal-scorer (22) and point-scorer (36) in 2015 and finished his career with 52 career goals.
Worrall, a second team All-CAA and CAA All-Academic selection, led the Hens with 12 caused turnovers during the 2015 season and finished his career No. 2 all-time at UD with 50 caused turnovers.
