KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- University of Delaware men's basketball rising senior Sean Locke, along with recent graduates Tom Allshouse and Kyle Anderson, were named to the 2014-15 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honors Court on Thursday.
Locke, a native of Newark, Del. (St. Mark's HS), appeared in five games last season for the Blue Hens. A sport management major at UD, he posted his first career rebound and assist during the final minute of the contest at Cal Poly.
Allshouse, a Middletown, Del. native who also attended St. Mark's HS, played three games for Delaware last fall before a heart condition forced him to miss the remainder of the year. Allshouse, who earned the team's Unsung Hero Award and Sportsmanship Award, was named to the Honors Court for the second consecutive season. A Dean's List student, he graduated from UD in May with a degree in mechanical engineering.
Anderson, a native of Newark, Ill. (Newark HS), graduated from Delaware in the spring with a degree in health and physical education, and also was named to the Honors Court for the second straight year.
He earned third team All-CAA and CAA Academic Team accolades in 2014-15 after leading the Blue Hens and ranking sixth in the league with 14.4 points per game. He reached double figures in all but two games on the year, including a season-high 25 points at Elon. A four-year starter for the Blue Hens, Anderson is the school's career leader with 269 three-pointers made and 780 attempted.
In order to be named to the NABC Honors Court, an athlete must be a junior or senior academically, boast a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher at the conclusion of the 2014-15 academic year, and have matriculated at least one year at his current institution.
