Sierra Patton notched six saves for the loss.
“This was a quality game between two good teams. We had a number of well-executed plays that allowed us to score the goals we needed to secure the win. At the same time, we were exposed to a number of areas that we will further have to work on and become smarter about. Coming home after a 2-0 weekend validates all the hard work our players group and coaching staff have put in throughout the preseason.”
Jacki Coveleskihas posted a team-best four assists through the first weekend of play.
