Blue Hens Celebrate Senior Day With 3-0 Win Over Charleston

Ian Hennessy said. “I'm really happy they're able to leave Grant Stadium and the program in the fashion in which they did. The whole team really wanted to win for the seniors tonight, and I though the first half was of the highest quality.”
Delaware concludes its regular season with four consecutive road matches, beginning with a 3 p.m. matchup at Temple on Tuesday.
Match Notes:
• The Blue Hens held a 14-11 shot advantage and took all six corner kicks in the match
• Prieto has scored five goals in his last five matches
• Delgado now has seven assists on the year, two more than any other player in the CAA
• Delaware improved to 3-0-1 all-time against Charleston
• The senior class of de Villardi, Paul DeFeo, Delgado, Dani Laguna, Martinez, Sampson and Marco Siverio was honored in a pregame ceremony
