Blue Hen Freshman Ariane Klotz Named CAA Women's Golfer of the Week

RICHMOND, Va. -- University of Delaware freshman Ariane Klotz was named the Colonial Athletic Association Women's Golfer of the Week, the conference announced Wednesday.
Klotz carded a seven over par 74-75-74-223 on the par 72, 6,100-yard Springdale Golf Club course over the weekend to tie for 10th place at the Princeton Invitational. She helped lead the Blue Hens to an eighth place team finish at the tournament.
Klotz has appeared in all three tournaments this fall, leading Delaware with a pair of top 10 finishes and a 75.56 average round.
The Blue Hens are back in action this weekend when they travel to Denver, Colo. to compete in the Ron Moore Women's Intercollegiate at Highlands Ranch Golf Course Friday through Sunday.
