• Delaware faces Northern Kentucky on the second day of the Tarkett Sports Classic in Oxford, Ohio.
• The Blue Hens and Norse will be facing off for the first time in school history. Delaware had never faced Miami (Ohio), Northern Kentucky or Austin Peay prior to this weekend.
• Delaware is 0-5 all-time against teams currently in the Horizon League. The Blue Hens have lost three times to Detriot, although the teams haven't played since 1970. UD dropped two games to Cleveland State in 2005-06 and 2006-07. UD also lost two games to Butler, including a 2012 CIT first round game, when the Bulldogs were in the Horizon League.
• Delaware is off to a 3-1 start for the first time since the 2003-04 squad opened with five wins in its first six games.
• Chivarsky Corbett struggled offensively through the first three games of the season with just 14 total points, but broke out last night vs. Miami by scoring 16 points on 5 of 11 shooting. Corbett hit the game-winning three-pointer from the top of the key with 5.2 seconds left that broke a 64-64 deadlock, and then added a free throw with 3.3 seconds remaining.
• Anthony Mosley led the Blue Hens with 17 points vs. the Redhawks, while adding five rebounds, four assists and four steals. Mosley currently ranks second on the team with a 13.3 scoring average, is tied for third with 4.5 rebounds per game, and leads the squad with 11 assists and 11 steals.
• Darian Bryant missed the La Salle game with a muscle strain in his back, but returned to score a season-high 16 points during Friday's win over Miami. Bryant played 26 minutes and went 7 of 8 from the foul line.
• Cazmon Hayes was the fourth Blue Hen in double figures against Miami, contributing 13 points on the night. He has reached double figures in three of the four games this season, and currently leads the team with a 13.5 scoring average.
• Eric Carter had another big rebounding night for Delaware, grabbing a game-high 11 rebounds to reach double figure boards for the second time this year. Carter is averaging 9.8 rebounds through the first four games of the season; he has 39 boards, no other UD player has more than 23.
• Delaware held a 37-31 rebounding edge over Miami, and has won the rebounding battle in all four games this season. Delaware has a +12.5 rebounding margin this year, which is actually lower than Northern Kentucky's +13.7 margin.
• Delaware connected on 7 of 24 three-point attempts vs. Miami and is shooting just 27.1 percent from long distance. However the Blue Hens are holding their opponents to a 26.7 percentage from behind the arc. UD's opponents have taken 31 more three-point attempts than the Blue Hens through four games (101 to 70).
• The Blue Hens have blocked just seven shots through four games this year.
