UD Soccer Star Guillermo Delgado Caps Incredible Career with Record Fourth All-American Citation

Ian Hennessy. “Guillermo moves into a special class of player with the tremendous consistency he exhibited over his career. Guillermo will be the first to share this award with his graduating peers who have had a huge part in making this accomplishment happen. They have made a case for being the best-ever graduating UD class for our program and this award is in part, a celebration of that.”

Earlier this month Delgado garnered first team all-region accolades for the fourth straight season, becoming the program's first-ever four-time first team selection. The forward joins George Caruso as Delaware's only four-time all-region honorees as Caruso was a first team (1977, 1978), second team (1975) and honorable mention (1976) pick.
