Nicole Enabosi Awarded Fourth CAA Rookie of the Week Honor

RICHMOND, Va. – Forward Nicole Enabosi (Gaithersburg, Md./Our Lady of Good Counsel) earned CAA Rookie of the Week accolades for the fourth time this season, as announced by the league Monday.
Enabosi helped guide Delaware (13-11, 8-5 CAA) to a 2-0 week with victories over the College of Charleston and William & Mary. She averaged 12.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 2.5 steals and 2.0 blocks per game while shooting 73.3 percent (11-of-15) from the floor.
In Friday's win over the Cougars, Enabosi was 6-of-7 from the field and finished with 14 points and eight rebounds. She followed with her fourth double double of the season with 10 points and 10 rebounds in Sunday's road victory against the Tribe. Enabosi added four assists, three steals and three blocks at W&M.
For the year, Enabosi leads the Hens with 6.8 rebounds and 1.5 steals per contest and is fourth for Delaware with 8.7 points per game.
Kayla Cooper-Williams (James Madison) shared CAA Co-Rookie of the Week honors with Enabosi while Samantha DeFreese (Northeastern) collected the Player of the Week nod.
The Blue Hens next travel to Boston, Mass. for a 7 p.m. contest Friday at Northeastern before returning to the Bob Carpenter Center to host Hofstra Sunday at 2 p.m.
