Blue Hens Open 2016 Spring Season at Kiawah Island Spring Classic

Andi Slane earned medalist honors at Rutgers, and led the team with four top 10 finishes and a 74.17 stroke average. Nathalie Filler twice placed among the top 10 and averaged 77.21 shots per round, while Vitoria Teixeira recorded a 77.33 average round.
Valentina Mueller (78.63 average round), Vimonthip Benjasupawan (79.14) and Ashley Dingman (80.18) will also compete for the Blue Hens at the Kiawah Island Spring Classic.
The tournament is the first of six invitationals this spring for Delaware, which will also compete in the North Florida Collegiate in Jacksonville, Fla. on Mar. 7-8 and the San Diego State March Mayhem in Rancho Santa Fe, Calif. on Mar. 21-13. The Blue Hens will play in the Jacksonville Web.com Intercollegiate in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. on Apr. 4-5 and the UNCW River Landing Classic in Wallace, N.C. on Apr. 9-10, before concluding the season at the CAA Championships in Southport, N.C. on Apr. 15-17.
