Delaware Men's Lacrosse Looks for First Win of Season Tuesday vs. VMI

Bob Shillinglaw, now in his 38th year at Delaware and his 41st year overall as a head coach, enters today's game needing just two wins to become only the second coach in NCAA Division I history to win 300 games at one school. The dean of NCAA Division I head coach, Shillinglaw has coached an NCAA record 628 games.
• A trio of Delaware first-year players are ranked among the national leaders in three different categories. Sam Walsh ranks No. 30 in the NCAA in faceoffs (.535), GK Parker Ferrigan is No. 31 in goals against average (9.55), and Austin Haynes is No. 32 in caused turnovers (1.75).
• VMI sophomore Wesley Sanders, who earned Southern Conference All-Freshman team honors last year, leads the team with six goals through three games.
• VMI is looking to bounce back from records of 12-2 in 2014 and 1-3 last season.
