Nicole Enabosi Named to CAA All-Tournament Team

UPPER MARLBORO, Md. – Delaware forward Nicole Enabosi (Gaithersburg, Md./Our Lady of Good Counsel) was named Sunday to the CAA All-Tournament Team for her efforts during this past weekend's conference tournament.
In two games for the Blue Hens, Enabosi averaged 17.0 points, 9.5 rebounds, 1.0 blocks and 1.0 assists in two games. The freshman shot .684 (13-of-19) from the floor and went .888 (8-of-9) from the charity stripe.
Enabosi, an All-Rookie Team selection, led Delaware (16-15) this season with 7.1 rebounds and 1.3 steals per contest in addition to a .455 (91-of-200) shooting percentage. She was also second for the Hens with 1.1 blocked shots and third with 8.9 points per game.
UD, the No. 5 seed in the post-season tournament, advanced to the CAA semifinals for the seventh straight season after defeating No. 4 Elon, 57-50.
The Blue Hens were denied a trip to the finals after falling to No. 1 James Madison, 68-47.
The top-seeded and reigning champion Dukes picked up the three-peat in the title game Saturday afternoon with a 60-46 victory over No. 2 Drexel.
JMU senior Jazmon Gwathmey collected Most Outstanding Performer accolades for the third straight season while other All-Tournament Team performers included Angela Mickens (JMU), Ashley Perez (JMU), Sarah Curran (Drexel) and Samantha DeFreese (Northeastern).
