STORYLINES
    • Delaware takes on the College of Charleston in a CAA Tournament first round game on Friday at 8:30 p.m. The winner will face No. 2 seed UNCW at 6 p.m. in Saturday's quarterfinals.
   • The Blue Hens lead the all-time series with the Cougars, 5-3, and have won five of the six meetings since Charleston joined the CAA. Tonight's game is the first ever postseason meeting between the two schools.
   • The teams split two tightly-contested games this year, with each team winning on its home floor.
   • Charleston defeated Delaware, 59-58, on Jan. 23 in TD Arena, when Kory Holden's halfcourt shot at the buzzer fell off the rim. The Blue Hens hung on for a 62-59 victory over the Cougars on Feb. 18 at the Bob Carpenter Center, when Marquise Pointer's halfcourt shot at the buzzer kicked off the rim.
   • Delaware has played eight times in the first round of the CAA Tournament, compiling a 5-3 record. UD's most recent first round game came in 2012, when the fifth-seeded Blue Hens defeated Towson, 72-65, at the Richmond Coliseum.
   • This year marks the first time Delaware has been the No. 10 seed in the CAA Tournament, although the Blue Hens were the No. 12 seed in 2007 and 2010.
   • Delaware's last victory came over Charleston on Feb. 18, as the Blue Hens closed the regular season on a three-game losing streak.
   • The Blue Hens last won a game away from the BCC on Dec. 12 at Marist.
