Delaware Preparing To Compete in NCAA Women's Golf Bryan Regional

Patty Post, are making their first trip to the NCAA Regionals after earning an automatic bid by capturing the Colonial Athletic Association title on April 15-17. Delaware recorded an eight-shot victory over the College of Charleston with a three-round score of 927 at St. James Plantation in Southport, N.C.
Slane successfully defended her 2015 CAA individual championship, becoming the first women's golfer in league history to win back to back crowns, with a two-shot victory over Liu. Slane leads the Blue Hens with a UD single season record 75.15 average round this year, and was also the medalist while leading UD to the team title at the Rutgers Invitational in October.
Filler, one of only two Blue Hens to appear in all 10 tournaments on the year, ranks second on the team with a 76.45 average round, and placed third at the CAA Championship. She finished among the top 10 four times, and tied for the team lead with Slane by posting six top 20 finishes. Benjasupawan, who also competed in every invitational during the season, is fourth on the squad by averaging 78.45 shots per round.
Teixeira and Chua have each participated in six tournaments during the campaign, as Teixeira ranks third on the Blue Hens with a 78.39 average round while Chua has averaged 80.61 shots per round.
