Martin Ingelsby announced Wednesday that Bill Phillips and Corey McCrae have joined his staff as assistant coaches while Pat Rogers will become the program's director of operations.
The talented trio brings unique expertise to the Blue Hen staff and a wealth of experience not only from the NCAA Division I level but from one of the most respected high school programs in the nation.
Phillips spent the previous five seasons at Delaware's Colonial Athletic Association rival James Madison where his recruiting acumen and player development skills helped the Dukes capture the 2013 league title and NCAA Tournament berth; McCrae comes to UD from a DeMatha Catholic High School program that is consistently ranked among the nation's best and where he helped hone the skills of numerous NCAA Division I standouts; and Rogers moves from Notre Dame where his skill and innovation as video coordinator played a key role in the Irish's run to the NCAA Regional Finals each of the past two seasons.
