Blue Hens Kick Off 2016 Campaign With 3-0 Win Over Coppin State

The Blue Hens are back in action on Saturday at the invitational when they take on New Hampshire at 1 p.m. and Navy at 6:30 p.m.
Match Notes:
• Delaware snapped a four-match losing streak in season openers
• The Blue Hens improved to 2-0 vs. Coppin State, along with a victory in 1994
• Robinson reached double figure kills for the second time in her career
• Corey Perkins tied her career-highs with four kills and seven digs
• Swann eclipsed the 500-kills mark and Anderson surpassed the 1,900-assists mark for their careers
• UD's attack percentage was the team's highest since hitting .418 at William & Mary on Oct. 7, 2012
• Coppin State's hitting percentage was the lowest by a UD opponent since Morgan State hit -.062 on Sept. 25, 2012
• Freshmen Maria Bellinger, Kori Rasmussen and Bailey Pearlman, along with redshirt freshman Liz Tobey, made their UD debuts
