HEN SCRATCHINGS 🐔
• After opening the season with a pair road games at Richmond and Bradley, the Blue Hens kickoff their home season tonight vs. in-state opponent Wesley.
• Tonight's game begins the 26th home season since the opening of the Bob Carpenter Center. Delaware is 17-8 in home openers in the BCC, with wins in its last two home openers vs. Fairleigh Dickinson and Goldey-Beacom.
• Delaware posted a 76-63 win at Richmond in last Friday's season opener, before dropping a 61-53 decision at Bradley on Tuesday.
• Eric Carter has posted double-doubles in each of the first two games. He scored 12 points and grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds at Richmond, before leading all players with 18 points and 12 boards at Bradley. Carter has connected on 12 of his 16 field goal attempts this year for a 75.0 field goal percentage.
• Kevin Anderson added 15 points and eight rebounds in 39 minutes of action at Bradley, and has reached double figures in each of his first two collegiate games.
• Anthony Mosley, who came off the bench to score 13 points against the Braves, has scored in double digits during the first two contests of the season.
• Tonight's game is a part of the UNCG Spartan Classic. Delaware will continue play at the invitational with three games in Greensboro Monday through Wednesday, taking on UNCG, North Carolina Wesleyan and Longwood.
