Blue Hens To Host Second Annual UD Basketball Teddy Bear Toss on December 20

NEWARK, Del. – The University of Delaware will partner with Kind to Kids for the Second Annual UD Basketball Teddy Bear Toss on Wednesday, December 20 during the Blue Hen men's basketball home game vs. CSU Bakersfield.

All fans attending the game are asked to bring a new teddy bear or stuffed animal to the contest. At halftime fans will be asked to toss their bears onto the court, and the fan whose bear is closest to a target on the floor will win a UD gift bag with special prizes inside! The bears will then be collected and donated to Delaware children in need (more information on the children that Kind to Kids support can be found at kindtokids.org).
