HEN SCRATCHINGS 🐔
• Delaware plays its final game before the holiday break by hosting CSU Bakersfield at the Bob Carpenter Center. UD will then take an eight-day break before hosting Cornell on December 28 in its final non-league game of the season.
• The Blue Hens are looking to climb back to the .500 mark and earn their second straight victory. UD is attempting to snap a three-game home losing skid.
• Delaware is coming off a 68-59 overtime win at Delaware State on Sunday, the Blue Hens' first overtime game of the season.
• UD defeated its in-state rival for the third year in a row, and improved to 8-1 all-time in Dover.
• Kevin Anderson was named the CAA Rookie of the Week on Monday after posting his first career double-double with 12 points and a season-high 12 rebounds.
• Ryan Allen scored a team-leading 15 points, reaching double figures for the sixth consecutive game. Allen has knocked down four three-pointers in each of the last two games vs. Notre Dame and Delaware State.
• Ryan Daly reached double figures for the ninth straight game with 13 points, and handed out a career-high eight assists.
• Darian Bryant returned from a two-game absence due to a concussion to contribute season-highs of 12 points and six rebounds.
• Eric Carter was the fifth Blue Hen in double figures with 11 points to go with seven rebounds.
• CSU Bakersfield won the only previous meeting between the schools, 70-52, in Bakersfield on Nov. 23, 2014.
