RICHMOND, Va. – Delaware junior Nicole Enabosi earned her third CAA Women's Basketball Player of the Week honors, as announced by the conference office Tuesday.
The forward logged 23 points and a career-high 20 rebounds in Delaware's win over Loyola Friday afternoon. It was the most rebounds in the CAA this season and the most for a Blue Hen since 1989. Enabosi's performance marked just the fifth 20-20 game in school history and the first one in the CAA since the 2012-13 season.
The Gaithersburg, Md. native went 9-for-13 from the floor and 5-for-5 from the free throw line and also dished out three assists, with no turnovers, and blocked a shot in 34 minutes of action.
Enabosi has posted a double-double in school-record eight straight games and has nine double-doubles (third, NCAA) in 11 games this season.
She currently leads the CAA with 20.4 points (28th, NCAA) and 12.9 rebounds (fourth, NCAA) per game to go along with 59.1 shooting percentage (78-132, 27th, NCAA). Enabosi is also fourth with 35.0 minutes played and sixth with 1.4 blocked shots per.
