Blue Hen Softball's Weekend Schedule vs. Towson Changed

NEWARK, Del. -- Due to rain in the forecast for Sunday, the schedule for the University of Delaware softball team's Colonial Athletic Association weekend series vs. Towson has been altered.
The Blue Hens and Tigers will now play a 3 p.m. single game on Friday at the UD Softball Stadium, followed by the regularly scheduled 12 noon doubleheader on Saturday.
Delaware is 8-12 on the season, and has won six consecutive games following Tuesday's doubleheader sweep of Villanova. Towson carries a 9-11 mark into the Tigers' twinbill this afternoon at Longwood.
This weekend's series will be the conference opener for both squads.
