Delaware held strong for an entire 60 minutes, but #4/4 Colorado pulled out the 9-7 victory over the Blue Hens at Delaware Stadium Wednesday evening. The Hens led, 7-6, with nine minutes remaining in the contest before the Buffaloes (11-0) notched three unanswered goals late to remain undefeated on the season. Becky Gohsler (Mendham, N.J./West Morris Mendham) guided UD with three goals, five caused turnovers and five assists as the Blue Hens (5-4) returned to the field after an 11-day hiatus from competition. Jamie Schwartz added three points on two assists and a goal while Christine Long tallied two goals of her own. Mary Abram led all players with a season-best four draw controls while Taylor Carpentier allowed nine goals with four saves in 60 minutes of action.
· Delaware will be featured on April 14 as the CAA Game of the Week on Lax sports Network as the Blue Hens play at William & Mary.
SERIES INFORMATION 💪
· Princeton leads the all-time series, 19-5, over Delaware since the first matchup in 1985.
· In the last matchup at Princeton, the Blue Hens snapped a 17-game losing streak to the Tigers as Delaware defeated #11 Princeton, 12-10, on March 28, 2015.
· Last season, the #11/13 Tigers held off the Hens, 7-6, at Delaware Stadium.
· A US Lacrosse Hall of Famer, 12-time Ivy League champion and three-time NCAA champion, Chris Sailer is in her 31st season at the helm of the Princeton women's lacrosse program. Sailer is second in NCAA history among Division I coaches with 378 career victories.

· Senior Olivia Hompe leads the offense with 42 points on 31 goals and 11 assists. She is currently fifth in program history with 217 career points.
· Freshman Tess D'Orsi has made an immediate impact and has registered 29 points on 23 goals and six assists.
· Senior Ellie DeGarmo has recorded back-to-back games with career highs in saves in wins against Dartmouth (17) and Syracuse (18). She is first nationally with 12.88 saves per game and second with a 58.2 save percentage.
