Blue Hens Rowing Battles Elements to Produce Top Results at 2017 Dad Vail

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -- The University of Delaware women's rowing squad battled the rain Saturday morning at the 2017 Dad Vail Regatta held on the Schuylkill River.
Kevin GruberThe Hens' placed all six competing squads into Saturday morning's Grand Finals, where Delaware's Second Varsity Fours (7:41.21) placed first, the Third Varsity Eights (7:00.16) placed second, and the Second Varsity Eights (6:53.92) and Varsity Fours (7:40.79) each placed fifth.
In addition, Delaware's Novice Fours (7:58.81) and Varsity Eights (6:43.99) crews each placed sixth.
