HEN SCRATCHINGS
POSITIVE RESULT: Last time out Delaware earned its first positive result of the season, playing Saint Joseph's to a 2-2 draw. The Blue Hens, who fell behind 2-0, rallied for two second half goals to tie the game. The final tally was recorded with just 37 seconds remaining in regulation. Freshman Olivia Schuck scored the Hens first goal, while Gabby Johnson scored the dramatic equalizer.
SCORING FROM DIFFERENT PLACES: The Blue Hens have received goals from three different players this season. In the opener against Villanova Jillian Vassallo scored for UD. In Sunday's draw Schuck and Johnson scored for Delaware.
SERIES INFORMATION:
• Delaware is 2-0 all-time against Marist, with the first matchup (3-0 Delaware) occurring during the 1999 season.
• The Blue Hens and Red Foxes last met at the Navy Invitational in 2014.
• Delaware defeated Marist 1-0 in two overtime periods in that match.
